READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LOGGING INTO EAGLENET
EAGLENET USER NAME
When you visit https://eaglenet.umw.edu, you will see the following prompt:

Your EagleNet User Name is your University-provided NetID. If you do not already know your NetID, click here.
EAGLENET PASSWORD- All Students
- Faculty and Staff who did NOT change their temporary passwords during the summer's migration to Active Directory and Outlook
Students will need to use their new Active Directory password to login to the new EagleNet portal. That means initially using a temporary password, constructed for each student as follows:
Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number* + 2 digit designation of your birth month (e.g., April = 04)
* Note: If you have no Social Security number in our systems
use the Last 4 digits of your Banner ID + 99.
Your banner ID is printed on your eagleone card (it's also found next to your name in Banner).
Your temporary password is based on personal information, so you will want to change it wherever it is used. See below for password changes.
STUDENT PASSWORD CHANGES
- Login to the new EagleNet portal using your UMW Net ID and temporary password (above).
- You can change your Active Directory password in EagleNet. To Do So:
- Click on the "University Resources" tab, and select "Technology Support".

- At the "Technology Support" page, you will see a password change panel in the upper right-hand side of the page. Type in your old password, and type in your new password twice. That's it!

- Click on the "University Resources" tab, and select "Technology Support".
You are now done!
Faculty and Staff password changes
Most faculty and staff changed their temporary password when we switched to Outlook and Active Directory on their university computers this past summer. For further changes to faculty/staff passwords, you have the following options:
Method 1: EagleNet: login to the new EagleNet portal using your UMW Net ID and Windows password.
- Login to the new EagleNet portal using your UMW Net ID and temporary password (above).
- You can change your Active Directory password in EagleNet. To Do So:
- Click on the "University Resources" tab, and select "Technology Support".

- At the "Technology Support" page, you will see a password change panel in the upper right-hand side of the page. Type in your old password, and type in your new password twice. That's it!

- Click on the "University Resources" tab, and select "Technology Support".
Method 2 (Windows Users Only): When Logging into your Windows PC, click the "Change Password" link in the Windows login panel to change it there. Note: You may press CTRL-ALT-DELETE to have this Dialog Box pop up if you're already logged in to your machine.
Method 3 (PC, Mac, and Linux Users): Login to webmail at https://exchange.umw.edu/owa and click OPTIONS on the upper right. From there, click "Change Password" on the lower left and, follow these instructions to change your password.
IMPORTANT! Protect your password. Be very careful to logout from EAGLENET and make sure to close your browser when you are done.
